Binwen Yan 

Binwen is a 5th year Architectural Engineering student, specialized in lighting/electrical. She will be graduated with a bachelor degree in May, 2017. 

In the past summer, Binwen interned in Integral Group, San jose office, as an electrical intern. She got opportunities to work on both electrical and lighting design. Her major work is doing  circuiting, panelboard design and electrical room layout. She also participated in photovoltaic design. Binwen will take FE exam at the end of 2016 and gain EIT statue upon graudtion. She will work on pursuing Professional Engineerin liscense after she start wroking. Binwen would like to work as an electrical engineer in the future with a focus on building sustainability. 

In school, Binwen actively involved in IES and SSAE group. She likes doing exercise during spare time. She was certificated as taekwondo 1st Black belt in 2008. She believes doing excerise and staying health are important to life.
